Daniel Tupou made his 300th NRL appearance for the Sydney Roosters iconic club against the Parramatta Eels opponents last Saturday. The achievement was highlighted in numerous places throughout the league. NRL.com, News.com.au and the Roosters’ social media pages all mentioned it.
The Roosters sat out starters for strategic reasons for the match. Tedesco, Walker and Robson did not play the regulars. Stand-in player Pezut filled Moses’ spot in the lineup a rookie. The side also fielded younger talent to the mix. Tupou now sits among the club’s rarefied 300-game group for the club.
