Brunei is a small sovereign state located on the northern coast of the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia, entirely surrounded by Malaysia's Sarawak region except for a short coastline on the South China Sea. It is bordered by Malaysia to the north, west, and south, and by Brunei Bay to the east; its territory is split into two parts by the Malaysian district of Limbang. The capital is Bandar Seri Begawan.[1][2]
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was formally established upon the resumption of Brunei Darussalam's full independence on 1 January 1984. His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.
