GTA VI adds Stephen Root to cast

Actor Stephen Root has officially confirmed he will be featured in Grand Theft Auto VI. He will portray the character Brian Heder for the title. This is the first time an actor has publicly confirmed a role in Grand Theft Auto VI. The announcement came on September 14, 2026.

Multiple outlets flagged the update, including AP News and GTA BOOM. Root said in a quote, "You're Gonna See Me in There." The reveal offers an early look for the roster of the video game, one of the most eagerly awaited games.
