the St. George Dragons is a former Australian professional rugby league football club based in Kogarah, New South Wales. Foundation member of NSWRL, dating back to 1908. In 1999 the team relocated to the Illawarra region and became the St. George Illawarra Dragons, retaining the Dragons nickname. Kogarah Oval hosted home games with roughly 22,000 seats.
