More EU investment for growth and jobs in Port Talbot
EU funds of £3.5m will be invested in the first stage of a major development to create a new business hub in Port Talbot’s former docks.
www.gov.walesPort Talbot Parkway attended the new enclosed footbridge with ticket office and waiting areas plus CCTV and elevators to all platforms as part of the broader regeneration tied to the Wales Station Improvement Scheme. The project facilities for park-and-ride and more car parking, along with better facilities for cyclists, buses, and taxis. It is connected to wider Port Talbot regeneration efforts such as Harbourside development and town-centre upgrades. Funding from a mix of Welsh Government, Network Rail, and EU and other funds, with collaboration with Neath Port Talbot Council.
