Rogers Communications finalised its acquisition of the last 37.5 percent stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment from Kilmer Sports for $4.35 billion.
The deal renders Rogers the exclusive owner of MLSE.
This move expands Rogers' control across the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and other teams within the company's sports portfolio.
Multiple outlets verified the closed transaction on Monday.
Rogers before maintained a primary stake in MLSE alongside Kilmer Sports.
