Michael Taaffe made his first NFL start. He walked off with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety intercepted Kirk Cousins on the opening drive of the half. Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later wound up with his third touchdown. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of his career.
