A fire ravaged the Kehlsteinhaus in Berchtesgaden, a former Nazi-era guesthouse known as the Eagle's Nest. German authorities detained a suspect after the incident. The building, associated with Hitler's Obersalzberg, was heavily affected in the blaze. The arrest was made following reports of the fire, which affected the historic retreat. The incident has raised concerns over the conservation of sites linked to the Nazi regime.
