Director James Gunn wrapped principal photography for the upcoming superhero project, Superman: Man of Tomorrow. The movie has a planned release in 2027. Gunn celebrated the end of shooting by sharing a series of production pictures online. Among the pictures was an image showing actor Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Principal photography is officially over.
Gunn shared appreciation for the film crew after main filming concluded. Work is done. He described the entire filming process as a joyful experience for both the cast and the crew as filming for the title concluded.
