Users worldwide report problems with Instagram such as login failures and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports matching these issues. All the app and website appear having problems simultaneously. Meta has yet to release a statement about these issues as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
