The Scottish Government has promised a £14m funding boost to support the restoration of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total budget requirements for the museum scheme now exceed £50m. The famous site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been shut for a long time.
BBC and The Herald stated the venue is expected to stay closed until 2029.
