The two-week Festival d'Été de Québec closed with impressive numbers. Big acts played various stages on Grande-Allée and within Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted more number of attendees than ever before. Opening night had minor issues that could have turned into a larger problem. Heavy rain caused headaches on several days. Still, locals kept turning out despite the hurdles. A brief check after the event showed most people were pleased with how it ran, even with the rough patches .
