Oakland outlasted Seattle 6-5 on Friday. Eduard Bazardo gave up a walkoff home run in the 10th inning to Donovan Walton, a onetime Mariner. Walton's two-run homer completed the Athletics' rally. Seattle was ahead early. But Oakland rallied to shock the Mariners in extra innings. A crazy catch by Clarke made way for Walton's winning hit.
Bazardo took the mound in the 10th. He almost got out of it. With two outs, Walton connected. The ball went over the wall. Oakland erupted. Seattle left the field stunned.
