Clare Wright attended lectures, as an Australian historian, noted for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), offering women’s perspectives on the Eureka Rebellion. Her work includes ABC history programs, like Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. With a PhD from Melbourne, she is a professor at La Trobe University, where she leads public history initiatives and has served on the National Museum of Australia Council since 2022. 2020 saw Wright awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia. for services to literature and historical research.
