Quebec today has pledged five million dollars to grow the Bota Bota floating spa the unique spa in Montreal.
The cash is set to fund a second boat for the fleet. Visitor numbers have been climbing, prompting the move, according to local media said. The province has so far not released any more financial data.
Work is scheduled to start this spring, in the near season, and the new vessel should to be operating by early 2027. Officials report the extra space will cut wait times and lift tourism revenue. The expanded capacity is expected to ease crowding during peak days.
