Two people passed away at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday when two cars collided on the busy Highway 401. Both drivers were killed instantly. Five more riders suffered scratches and bruises. Thick road debris covered the fast lanes. Cleanup crews had the scene cleared. Authorities closed that stretch of road. Investigators left the site by around just before noon.
